This built in has to fit the dimensions of an open-concept main floor…so eleven-feet wide and seven-feet high. To ensure it doesn’t get overpowered in that space, we used heavy shelving and gables (1.5″ as opposed to the more traditional 3/4″ in a kitchen or dining room).
