Waterloo White Lacquer
Not every kitchen is a refacing and nor is every kitchen a full rip out and renovate. Some are hybrids – part refacing, part new cabinets. Keeping some of the old components can save money and time.
In this case half the cabinets were refaced, and half were built new to match. As well, the layout changed drastically.
This was an extensive renovation that was still far less than a full rip out and redo. Details: new Corian counters, sinks, faucets, dishwasher, backsplash, and a completely new reconfiguration.
Completed Kitchen
Better shot of the new layout. Full details: Corian counters, new doors, facings, handles, soft-close hinges, undermount sink, backsplash.
New Layout Stove
Corian counters are a manmade product (unlike Granite) that is also in the solid-surface line. Made of acrylic, it is extremely hard, durable, and easy to repair in years down the road.
New Layout – Microwave area
This is the old fridge location. A drawer bank was added, and a microwave cabinet to get it off the counters.
