TWO-TONE KITCHEN RENOVATION

Timeless White Shaker – Leathered Granite – Backsplash

The client wanted to keep some of the original oak detailing so instead of replacing everything, we went with a two tone kitchen: honey oak lowers and designer white uppers. The doors are a V-Groove shaker. The counter is a Bianco Canvas from Hanstone. The backsplash is a bevelled white tile.

By not replacing and refacing all the wood, it saved some budget for several alterations

  • Converting a base 2-door cabinet into a pot-and-pan unit (soft close and full extension, which means it pulls out 100% for full access)
  • Transforming the clunky and undersized lazy susan’s (where the door is the front of the lazy susan) into a bifold doors with an inset (and much larger) lazy susan
  • Putting roll outs in the pantry
